Volkswagen Beetle Instrument Cluster Cloning Service (2000–2009) ClusterFix Texas

Volkswagen Beetle Instrument Cluster Cloning Service (2000–2009)

$199.99 USD

This instrument cluster cloning service is designed for Volkswagen Beetle models from 2000 to 2009 that require cluster replacement. The instrument cluster stores critical vehicle data, including VIN, mileage, immobilizer information, key pairing, and coding. Because of this, a used replacement cluster cannot be installed directly without proper data transfer.

This service transfers all required data from your original instrument cluster to a donor cluster that you provide, allowing the replacement unit to function exactly as the original.

What This VW Beetle Cluster Cloning Service Does

We extract and copy all vehicle-specific data from your original instrument cluster and write it to a compatible donor cluster. This includes VIN data, odometer information, immobilizer and key pairing data, and vehicle coding. Once cloning is complete, the donor cluster becomes a direct replacement and integrates seamlessly with your vehicle.

After installation, no dealer programming or immobilizer adaptation is required.

Compatibility Requirements

For successful cloning, the following conditions must be met:

  • The donor instrument cluster must have the same part number as the original

  • Both the original and donor clusters must be shipped to us

  • We do not supply replacement clusters as part of this service

If your original cluster has issues such as a dead display or water damage, data recovery is often still possible. If you are unsure, contact us before shipping for verification.

Supported Volkswagen Beetle Models

This service supports the following Volkswagen Beetle model years:

  • Volkswagen Beetle (2000–2005)

  • Volkswagen Beetle (2006–2009)

  • First and last name

  • Contact phone number

  • Return shipping address

  • Vehicle year, model, and VIN

What to Expect After Cloning

Once the cloned cluster is returned and installed, the vehicle will recognize it as the original unit. Dash functions such as the odometer, warning lights, and immobilizer operation will function normally, with no additional programming required.

FAQ

Will my mileage be preserved?
Yes. The original mileage is transferred to the donor cluster during cloning.

Will this retain my existing keys and immobilizer pairing?
Yes. Immobilizer and key data are preserved so existing keys continue to work.

Do part numbers need to match?
Yes. The donor cluster must have the same part number as the original.

Can you clone data from a damaged cluster?
In many cases, yes. Contact us before shipping if the cluster has severe damage.

Do you service customers outside Texas?
Yes. This is a nationwide mail-in service, though we are based in Texas.
