Immobilizer Delete Service for VW TDI EDC17 Diesel (2007-2014) | VIN Correction Available

$129.99 USD

This EDC17 Immobilizer OFF service is designed for Volkswagen TDI diesel vehicles equipped with Bosch EDC17 ECUs. The service disables the immobilizer system inside the ECU, allowing the vehicle to run without immobilizer interference. It is intended only for vehicles that start and then immediately shut down due to an immobilizer fault.

This service is commonly used when installing a used or remanufactured replacement ECU. We can also correct or update the VIN stored in the ECU if required.

Important: If the vehicle does not start at all, this service will not resolve the issue. Vehicles that crank but shut off due to immobilizer authorization errors are ideal candidates.

FAQ

What does IMMO OFF do?
Disables the immobilizer system inside the Bosch EDC17 ECU, allowing the engine to run without key authorization.

Will my vehicle still use the original keys?
Yes. The engine will start normally, but the immobilizer system is bypassed.

Can you correct the VIN in the ECU?
Yes. VIN correction can be performed during this service if requested.

Will the immobilizer light stay on?
Yes, depending on the ECU and fault, the immobilizer warning light may remain illuminated.

Can this fix a no‑start vehicle?
No. Vehicles that do not start at all require ECU repair or cloning, not IMMO OFF.

Is this service legal for street use?
IMMO OFF is typically intended for off‑road, export, or diagnostic use. Customers are responsible for compliance with local and state regulations.

Do you serve customers outside Texas?
Yes. This is a nationwide mail‑in service.
