Engine Computer Immobilizer Cloning Service for VW & Audi (MED17 & ME17 ECUs)

This service is designed to clone the immobilizer data from your Volkswagen or Audi vehicle's Engine Control Module (ECM), specifically for models equipped with MED17 and ME17 style computers. We will transfer your vehicle’s immobilizer security files into the replacement ECM that you provide.

Supported ECU Types:

• ME17.5.2, ME17.5.24, ME17.5.6
• MED17, MED17.1, MED17.5, MED17.5.2, MED17.5.5, MED17.5.20, MED17.5.25

Supported Audi Models:

• Audi A3: 2008–2014 (1.4 TFSI, 1.8 TFSI, 2.0 TFSI)
• Audi A4: 2008–2014 (2.0 TFSI)
• Audi Q5: 2008–2014 (2.0 TFSI)

Supported VW Models:

• VW Golf: 2008–2014 (1.4 TSI, 2.0 TSI)
• VW Passat: 2008–2014 (2.0 TFSI, 2.5l)
• VW Jetta: 2008–2014 (1.4 TSI, 1.8 TSI, 2.5l)
• VW Tiguan: 2008–2014 (2.0 TSI)
• VW Beetle: 2008-2014 (2.0 TSI, 2.5l)

Service Requirements:

• You must ship both your original ECM and a replacement unit with matching part numbers.
• This service supports vehicles from 2014 or earlier.

Important Notes:

• OBD communication is required for this service. Please ensure your ECU has OBD communication before purchasing.
  
• If your ECU does not have OBD communication, the next best option is to turn the immobilizer off on the replacement. You can use our Immobilizer Off Service for this solution.
