Audi ELV Steering Lock J764 Clone Service

If your Audi will not start due to a failed Electronic Steering Lock (ELV / J764 module) showing “Steering Defective” or immobilizer errors, this service provides a cost-effective plug-and-play solution.

We transfer all immobilizer, VIN, key, and configuration data from your original faulty unit to a donor module you supply. This eliminates the need for expensive dealer replacements.

How the Service Works

1. Checkout & Info – Place your order and include your VIN, vehicle info, or symptoms in the notes.
2. Ship Your Parts – Send us your original ELV and a donor unit (must have the same part number) with your order confirmation.
3. Plug & Play Return – We clone the data and ship your ELV back ready to install. (In some cases, OBD fault codes may need clearing with tools such as VCDS.)

Important Notes

• Donor module must match the original hardware/firmware version.
• This is a cloning service only; modules are not included unless arranged separately.
• Return shipping is included. Inbound shipping is the customer’s responsibility.
• “Steering Defective” errors from a failed ELV may also trigger apparent BCM2 issues (e.g., 02811 or sync loss). If your symptoms include BCM2 faults, contact us.
