Immobilizer OFF Delete IMMO Off SERVICE For VW Volkswagen Continental SIMOS ECUs
This service removes the immobilizer from VW vehicles with Continental SIMOS ECUs. It’s for vehicles that start and then shut down due to an immobilizer issue. If the vehicle does not start at all, this service will not resolve the issue.
This service is ideal when replacing a faulty ECU with a used or remanufactured unit, ensuring compatibility with your vehicle’s electronics.
Common Symptoms:
-
Vehicle starts and shuts down due to the immobilizer.
-
Fault codes P1570 ("Engine Start Blocked by Immobilizer") and P0513 ("Incorrect Immobilizer Key").
Important:
-
Your vehicle must start and then shut down due to the immobilizer for this service to work.
-
If the vehicle does not start at all, this service will not fix the problem.
-
Intended Use: This service is intended for replacing a defective ECU, off-road use, or testing purposes only. It is not intended for general on-road use, as disabling the immobilizer may affect vehicle functionality (e.g., window controls) and could have legal implications depending on your region.
-
Note for SIMOS ECUs (Window Functions): For vehicles manufactured after 2009, when all keys are lost or cluster issues, this service may result in the loss of window functions due to issues with the BCM (Body Control Module). The immobilizer system follows this sequence:
-
KEY -> CLUSTER -> BCM -> WINDOWS CONTROL
-
KEY -> CLUSTER -> ECU -> ENGINE
This service only addresses the ECU immobilizer (ENGINE sequence). We do not offer BCM immobilizer deactivation services, so window control issues may persist. - This service is best used for replacing the ecu.

POWERCLASS Warning: SIMOS and PCR2.1 ECUs use a POWERCLASS feature to prevent mismatched software versions. The replacement ECU’s full part number must be 100% identical to the original (e.g., "03L906023DM" must match exactly, including all numbers and letters). A mismatch will cause the BCM and other CAN components to reject the ECU, preventing the vehicle from starting.
