If you’re replacing the Column Integration Module (CIM) in your Saab 9-3, this service ensures your replacement module is ready to work in your vehicle. We copy all necessary data — including VIN, key transponder details, and security coding — from your original CIM into a donor module you provide.

What We Do

How It Works

• Ship us both your original CIM and the replacement unit.

Handling & Shipping Notes

• The CIM contains a clock spring and steering angle sensor, which are fragile. Before removing, disconnect the battery briefly to discharge the airbag system.

• Keep the clock spring locked in position during removal and shipping — tape it securely to avoid movement.

• We recommend detaching the stalk switches (turn signal, wiper controls) for safer packaging.

• Any damage caused during shipping is the customer’s responsibility.

Important Information

• Part numbers on both modules must be identical for proper operation.

• A steering angle calibration may be required after installation if alignment shifts during removal, but this is easily corrected with the right tools.
