We transfer your vehicle’s immobilizer security data into a replacement ECM that you provide, allowing for a plug-and-play installation.

  2. Data Cloning: We transfer all immobilizer and vehicle-specific data from the original ECM to the replacement unit.

Service Requirements

  • Matching Part Numbers: Both original and replacement ECMs must have identical part numbers.

  • OBD Communication Required: Ensure your replacement ECM has functioning OBD communication. Cloning is not possible without it.

  • Diesel Vehicles Only: Supports VW TDI diesel vehicles from 2014 or earlier.

Important Notes

  • If your ECM does not have OBD communication, or is unresponsive, cloning may not be possible. In such cases, we recommend our VW TDI Diesel Immobilizer Delete Service.

  • This service does not modify your vehicle’s alarm or other systems; it only transfers immobilizer and VIN data.

Will this work if my ECM isn’t communicating via OBD?

Do the original and replacement ECMs need to match?
