99-06 VW TDI EDC15 Diesel ECU Clone Programming Service

$179.99 USD

This service is designed for Volkswagen vehicles equipped with the Bosch EDC15 Diesel ECU. We clone all data from your original ECU into a replacement unit that you provide, ensuring seamless compatibility and operation. All critical data—including firmware, immobilizer information, and calibration settings—is transferred so the replacement ECU functions identically to the original.

Important Notes

  • Both the original and replacement ECUs must be shipped to us for cloning.

  • Cloning typically takes 1 business day once we receive the units.

  • The replacement ECU does not need the same part number, but must be a Bosch EDC15 compatible with your vehicle.

  • In some cases, ECUs may need to be opened to access EEPROM memory for cloning, which may void any warranty on the units.

  • Return shipping is included after cloning is complete.

Supported Volkswagen Models

  • Volkswagen Golf TDI: 1999–2006

  • Volkswagen Jetta TDI: 1999–2005

  • Volkswagen New Beetle TDI: 1999–2006

  • Volkswagen Passat TDI: 2004–2005

If your vehicle is not listed, send us your ECU part number for verification.

What We Do

  • Read all data from your original Bosch EDC15 ECU, including EEPROM and flash memory.

  • Program the data onto the replacement ECU for plug-and-play functionality.

  • Ensure all immobilizer, engine performance, and calibration settings are preserved.

  • Provide a fully compatible replacement ECU ready to install.

FAQ

Q: Does the replacement ECU need to match the part number of the original?
A: No. It must only be a Bosch EDC15 compatible with your vehicle.

Q: How long does the cloning process take?
A: Typically 1 business day once we receive both ECUs.

Q: Will this work if my original ECU is damaged?
A: Minor damage may be acceptable, but the ECU must be functional enough to read the EEPROM and flash memory. Contact us if unsure.

Q: Will this void my ECU warranty?
A: If we need to open the ECU to access EEPROM memory, it may void any existing warranty on the units.

Q: Do I need to clear any codes after installation?
A: In most cases, the cloned ECU is plug-and-play, but clearing OBD codes is recommended to ensure optimal functionality.
